حَدَّثَنَا حُجَيْنُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُوَاصِلُ إِلَى السَّحَرِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to continue his fast until before dawn
