حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ سِيمَاكُوشَ (١) ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " تَكُونُ فِتْنَةٌ تَسْتَنْظِفُ (٢) الْعَرَبَ، قَتْلَاهَا فِي النَّارِ، اللِّسَانُ فِيهَا أَشَدُّ مِنْ وَقْعِ السَّيْفِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Soon there will appear a tribulation towards which the people of Arabia will incline. Those who die in this tribulation will be in Hell, and in it, the cutting of the tongue will be harsher than the cutting of the sword."
