Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever from my Ummah wears gold and dies in that state, he will not be able to wear the gold of Paradise, or Allah will make the gold of Paradise forbidden for him. And whoever from my Ummah wears silk and dies in that state, Allah will make the silk of Paradise forbidden for him." Abdullah says that my father, Imam Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him), omitted this hadith because there is an error in its chain of narration.
