حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ بَابٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَجَلِيِّ، قَالَ: " كُنَّا نَعُدُّ الِاجْتِمَاعَ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْمَيِّتِ وَصَنِيعَةَ الطَّعَامِ بَعْدَ دَفْنِهِ مِنَ النِّيَاحَةِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We used to consider gathering at the house of the deceased and preparing food after the burial as part of lamentation.
