Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ بَابٍ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُخَاصِمُ أَبَاهُ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ هَذَا قَدِ اجْتَاحَ مَالِي (١) ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَنْتَ، وَمَالُكَ لِأَبِيكَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that I came to the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: My father wants to take possession of my wealth. The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "You and your wealth belong to your father."
