حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صَلَاةِ الرَّجُلِ قَاعِدًا؟ فَقَالَ: " عَلَى النِّصْفِ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ قَائِمًا "، قَالَ: وَأَبْصَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَوْمًا يَتَوَضَّئُونَ لَمْ يُتِمُّوا الْوُضُوءَ، فَقَالَ: " أَسْبِغُوا - يَعْنِي الْوُضُوءَ - وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَاقِيبِ مِنَ النَّارِ، أَوْ: الْأَعْقَابِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that once I asked the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, about performing voluntary prayers while sitting. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The reward for praying while sitting is half of that for praying while standing?" The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I am not like you." It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saw some people performing ablution and they were not doing it properly. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Woe to the heels from the fire of Hell! Complete the washing of the limbs of ablution thoroughly."
