Musnad Ahmad Hadith 6868

It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), there was a solar eclipse. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) stood up for prayer, so we also stood with him. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) stood for such a long time that we began to think that perhaps the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) would not bow (ruku). Then he bowed, and while raising his head from ruku, it did not seem as if he would rise. Then when he raised his head from ruku and went into prostration (sajdah), it did not seem as if he would lift his head from prostration. And in the second rak'ah, he did the same, and the sun became bright.
