Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ شَغَافٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا، سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الصُّورِ؟ فَقَالَ: " قَرْنٌ يُنْفَخُ فِيهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Bedouin came to the court of the Messenger and asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What is the Sur (Trumpet)?" He replied: "It is a horn in which it will be blown."
