حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى، [قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ] : قَالَ أَبِي: قَالَ حَسَنٌ الْأَشْيَبُ: رَاشِدٌ أَبُو يَحْيَى الْمَعَافِرِيُّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيَّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَا غَنِيمَةُ مَجَالِسِ الذِّكْرِ؟ قَالَ: " غَنِيمَةُ مَجَالِسِ الذِّكْرِ (١) الْجَنَّةُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that I once submitted in the court of the Messenger, "O Messenger of Allah! What is the reward of gatherings of remembrance?" The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The reward of gatherings of remembrance is Paradise."
