حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: {وَتَجْعَلُونَ رِزْقَكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ تُكَذِّبُونَ} [الواقعة: ٨٢] قَالَ: " شِرْكُكُمْ (٢) "مُطِرْنَا بِنَوْءِ كَذَا وَكَذَا، بِنَجْمِ كَذَا وَكَذَا " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) that The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision. He gives you, you deny (Him by disbelief)!` [Al-Waqi`ah 56:82]. He said: `Your shirk is when you say. ‘We were given rain by such-and-such a star.’”
