Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنِي حَبِيبٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (١) صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ أَعْتَى النَّاسِ عَلَى اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَنْ قَتَلَ فِي حَرَمِ اللهِ، أَوْ قَتَلَ غَيْرَ قَاتِلِهِ، أَوْ قَتَلَ بِذُحُولِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Among the people, the one who goes furthest in transgressing against Allah is the person who kills in a sacred sanctuary, or kills someone who is not a killer, or kills someone due to enmity from the days of ignorance."
