English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) entered Makkah in the year of the conquest of Makkah, he stood among the people to deliver a sermon and said: "O people! All the agreements made in the time of ignorance, Islam only increases their severity, but now they have no significance in Islam. Muslims are united against all others; the blood of all is equal. Even the lowest-ranking Muslim can grant protection, which will be honored up to the last Muslim. Their armies will be returned to the sitting warriors. No Muslim will be killed in retaliation for a disbeliever, and the blood money for a disbeliever is half that of a Muslim. There is no validity in keeping the animals of zakat with oneself or in evading zakat. Zakat will be collected from Muslims in their own regions."
