حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ، وَهُوَ مُسْنِدٌ ظَهْرَهُ إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ: " لَا يُقْتَلُ مُسْلِمٌ بِكَافِرٍ، وَلَا ذُو عَهْدٍ فِي عَهْدِهِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), while delivering a sermon with his back leaning against the Ka'bah, said: "No Muslim will be killed in retaliation for a disbeliever, and no treaty-bound person will be killed during the period of the treaty."
