حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " أَرْبَعٌ إِذَا كُنَّ فِيكَ فَلَا عَلَيْكَ مَا فَاتَكَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا: حِفْظُ أَمَانَةٍ، وَصِدْقُ حَدِيثٍ، وَحُسْنُ خَلِيقَةٍ، وَعِفَّةٌ فِي طُعْمَةٍ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If you possess four things and qualities, then even if the whole world slips away from you, it does not matter: safeguarding trust, truthfulness in speech, excellence in character, and purity in food."
