حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي حُيَيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيَّ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِي، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا جَاءَ الرَّجُلُ يَعُودُ مَرِيضًا، قَالَ: اللهُمَّ اشْفِ عَبْدَكَ، يَنْكَأُ لَكَ عَدُوًّا، وَيَمْشِي لَكَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When a person goes to visit a sick person, he should supplicate: O Allah, grant Your servant healing so that he may take revenge on Your enemy and be able to walk to prayer."
