حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي حُيَيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمَعَافِرِيُّ، أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيَّ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو: أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ أَبِي ذَبَحَ ضَحِيَّتَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " قُلْ لِأَبِيكَ يُصَلِّي ثُمَّ يَذْبَحُ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "My father has offered the sacrifice of his animal before the Eid prayer." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Tell your father to first perform the prayer, then offer the sacrifice."
