حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو قَبِيلٍ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِي: " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَعَاذَ مِنْ سَبْعِ مَوْتَاتٍ: مَوْتِ الْفُجَاءَةِ (١) ، وَمِنْ لَدْغِ الْحَيَّةِ، وَمِنَ السَّبُعِ، وَمِنَ الْحَرَقِ، وَمِنَ الْغَرَقِ، وَمِنْ أَنْ يَخِرَّ عَلَى شَيْءٍ، أَوْ يَخِرَّ عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ، وَمِنَ الْقَتْلِ عِنْدَ فِرَارِ الزَّحْفِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, sought refuge from seven types of death: sudden death, death by snake bite, being eaten by a wild animal, dying by burning, dying by drowning, dying by falling onto something or something falling onto him, and being killed while fleeing from the battlefield.
