حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، حَدَّثَنِي كَعْبُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ هِلَالٍ الصَّدَفِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ: ذَكَرَ الصَّلَاةَ يَوْمًا فَقَالَ: " مَنْ حَافَظَ عَلَيْهَا؟ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا، وَبُرْهَانًا، وَنَجَاةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يُحَافِظْ عَلَيْهَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ نُورٌ، وَلَا بُرْهَانٌ، وَلَا نَجَاةٌ (١) ، وَكَانَ، ، يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَعَ قَارُونَ، وَفِرْعَوْنَ، وَهَامَانَ، وَأُبَيِّ بْنِ خَلَفٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), while mentioning prayer, said: "Whoever observes it regularly, it will be a light, a proof, and a means of salvation for him on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever does not observe prayer regularly, it will not be a light, a proof, or a means of salvation for him, and on the Day of Resurrection, he will be with Qarun, Pharaoh, Haman, and Ubayy ibn Khalaf."
