Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عبدُ اللهِ (١) بْنُ عُمَرَ الْعُمَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَا أَسْكَرَ كَثِيرُهُ، فَقَلِيلُهُ حَرَامٌ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whatever intoxicates in large quantities, even a small amount of it is forbidden."
