حَدَّثَنَا عَارِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ أَبِي: حَدَّثَنَا الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَنَّ رَجُلًا، مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ اسْتَأْذَنَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي امْرَأَةٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا: أُمُّ مَهْزُولٍ، وَكَانَتْ تُسَافِحُ، وَتَشْتَرِطُ لَهُ أَنْ تُنْفِقَ عَلَيْهِ، قَالَ: فَاسْتَأْذَنَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ ذَكَرَ لَهُ أَمْرَهَا؟ قَالَ: فَقَرَأَ عَلَيْهِ نَبِيُّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " {الزَّانِيَةُ لَا يَنْكِحُهَا إِلَّا زَانٍ أَوْ مُشْرِكٌ} (١) [النور: ٣] "، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that there was a woman named "Umm Mahzool" who used to commit adultery and would make it a condition for her sustenance from the one who committed adultery with her. A Muslim came to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) to seek permission to be close to her, or he mentioned her to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) recited this verse before him: "Only a man who is himself an adulterer or a polytheist marries an adulteress."
