Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا زَائِدَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: " جَهَّزَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاطِمَةَ فِي خَمِيلٍ، وَقِرْبَةٍ، وَوِسَادَةِ أَدَمٍ حَشْوُهَا لِيفُ الْإِذْخِرِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) gave Fatimah a trousseau of a velvet garment, a waterskin and a leather pillow stuffed with idhkhir fibres.
