حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ شُتَيْرِ بْنِ شَكَلٍ،، ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ: " شَغَلُونَا عَنْ صَلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى، صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ، مَلَأَ اللهُ قُبُورَهُمْ وَبُيُوتَهُمْ نَارًا "، ثُمَّ صَلَّاهَا بَيْنَ الْعِشَاءَيْنِ: بَيْنِ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said on the day of al-Ahzab. `They distracted us from the middle prayer, ‘Asr prayer. May Allah fill their graves and houses with fire.` Then he offered it between the two evening prayers, Maghrib and ‘Isha’.
