Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ هِلالٍ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ الْأَجْدَعِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يُصَلَّى بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ إِلا أَنْ تَكُونَ الشَّمْسُ بَيْضَاءَ مُرْتَفِعَةً " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “No prayer should be offered after `Asr unless the sun is bright and still high.”
