حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: قَالَ لِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَا عَلِيُّ أَسْبِغِ الْوُضُوءَ وَإِنْ شَقَّ عَلَيْكَ، وَلا تَأْكُلِ الصَّدَقَةَ، وَلا تُنْزِ الْحَمِيرَ عَلَى الْخَيْلِ، وَلا تُجَالِسْ أَصْحَابَ النُّجُومِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said to me: “O ‘Ali, do wudoo’ properly even if it is difficult for you; do not consume charity; do not mate a donkey with a horse; and do not sit with astrologers.”
