Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنْ نُبَيْهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْمُحْرِمُ لَا يَنْكِحُ، وَلَا يُنْكِحُ، وَلَا يَخْطُبُ " (٢) .، •
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Aban bin `Uthman, from his father, that the Prophet (ﷺ)said:
“The pilgrim in ihram should not get married, arrange a marriage or propose marriage.`
