حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْكَبِيرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ؛ يَعْنِي قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ تَعَمَّدَ عَلَيَّ كَذِبًا، فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ بَيْتًا فِي النَّارِ " (٢) .،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that `Uthman bin `Affan (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: `Whoever tells a lie about me deliberately, let him take up his abode in Hell.`
