Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ نُبَيْهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " لَا يَنْكِحُ الْمُحْرِمُ وَلا يَخْطُبُ " (٢) .،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from `Aban bin `Uthman (رضي الله عنه) from ‘Uthman (رضي الله عنه), who attributed it to the Prophet (ﷺ) , that [the latter] said:
`The pilgrim in ihram should not get married or propose marriage.`
