حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو صَخْرَةَ جَامِعُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ حُمْرَانَ بْنَ أَبَانَ، يُحَدِّثُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ فِي مَسْجِدِ الْبَصْرَةِ، وَأَنَا قَائِمٌ مَعَهُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " مَنْ أَتَمَّ الْوُضُوءَ كَمَا أَمَرَهُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، فَالصَّلَوَاتُ الْخَمْسُ كَفَّارَاتٌ لِمَا بَيْنَهُنَّ " (٤) .، ،
Translation
English translation
Abu Sakhrah Jami’ bin Shaddad told me that he said:
I heard Humran bin Aban tell Abu Burdah in the mosque of Basrah, when I was standing next to him, that he heard `Uthman bin `Affan (رضي الله عنه) narrating from the Prophet (ﷺ) that he said: `Whoever does wudoo’ properly as enjoined by Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, the five prayers will be an expiation for whatever comes in between them.`
