Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَنْتَجِي اثْنَانِ دُونَ صَاحِبِهِمَا، فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ يُحْزِنُهُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When you are three people, then two of you should not whisper to each other excluding the third, because this will cause grief to the third."
