حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْهَجَرِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " أَتَدْرُونَ أَيُّ الصَّدَقَةِ أَفْضَلُ؟ "، قَالُوا: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ، قَالَ: " الْمَنِيحَةُ، أَنْ يَمْنَحَ أَحَدُكُمْ (١) أَخَاهُ الدِّرْهَمَ، أَوْ ظَهْرَ الدَّابَّةِ، أَوْ لَبَنَ الشَّاةِ، أَوْ لَبَنَ الْبَقَرَةِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) once asked the companions (may Allah be pleased with them): "Do you know which charity is the most virtuous?" The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) replied: Allah and His Messenger know best. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "It is the gift that one of you presents to his brother, whether it is money, the back of an animal (for riding), goat's milk, or cow's milk."
