حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ:، ، رَأَيْتُ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ الْأَسْوَدَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ، وَهُوَ يُعَلِّمُ الْقُرْآنَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَقَالَ: كَيْفَ تَقْرَأُ هَذَا الْحَرْفَ {فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ} [القمر: ١٥] أَذَالٌ، أَمْ دَالٌ؟ فَقَالَ: لَا، بَلْ دَالٌ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَقْرَؤُهَا: {مُدَّكِرٍ} [القمر: ١٥] دَالًا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Abu Ishaq (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I saw a man asking Aswad bin Yazid—who was teaching people the Qur'an in the mosque—"Do you recite this letter « فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ » with a 'dal' or with a 'dhal'?" He replied: "With a 'dal'. I heard Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) say that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) recite this word with a 'dal'."
