حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ابْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، فِي هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ: {وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَى عِنْدَ سِدْرَةِ الْمُنْتَهَى} [النجم: ١٤] ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " رَأَيْتُ جِبْرِيلَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَهُ سِتُّ مِائَةِ جَنَاحٍ، يَنْتَثِرُ مِنْ رِيشِهِ التَّهَاوِيلُ: الدُّرُّ، وَالْيَاقُوتُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, regarding the interpretation of the Qur'anic verse: « ﴿وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَى o عِنْدَ سِدْرَةِ الْمُنْتَهَى﴾ » [النجم: 13-14], that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I saw Jibreel (Gabriel), peace be upon him, in his true form near the Sidrat al-Muntaha; he had six hundred wings, from which pearls and rubies were falling."
