English translation

Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says that during the blessed era of the Prophet (ﷺ), we used to consider miracles as blessings, while you feel fear from them. In fact, Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) had heard the news of the enemy being swallowed by the earth. He further says that once we were on a journey with the Prophet (ﷺ), and water was not available. A vessel of water was presented to the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) put his blessed hand in it and spread his fingers apart. Springs of water began to flow from the fingers of the Prophet (ﷺ), and the Prophet (ﷺ) kept saying: "Come for ablution, this is a blessing from Allah." I filled my stomach with it and the people also drank from it. He further says that we used to hear the glorification of food while people were eating it.
