حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ كَأَنَّهُ عَلَى الرَّضْفِ "، وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ: الْأُولَيَيْنِ (٢) ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي: حَتَّى يَقُومَ؟ قَالَ: حَتَّى يَقُومَ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to sit between the two rak'ahs as if he were sitting on a hot stone. I asked: Until standing up? He replied: Yes!
