حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: تُوُفِّيَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصُّفَّةِ فَوَجَدُوا فِي شَمْلَتِهِ دِينَارَيْنِ، فَذَكَرُوا ذَاكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: " كَيَّتَانِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that one of the people of Suffah passed away. People found two dinars in his sheet. They mentioned this to the Prophet (ﷺ), so the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "These are two coals of Hellfire."
