حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَطَنٍ، عَنْ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْأَقْمَرِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: " مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَلْقَى اللهَ غَدًا مُسْلِمًا، فَلْيُحَافِظْ عَلَى هَؤُلَاءِ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسِ، حَيْثُ يُنَادَى بِهِنَّ، فَإِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ شَرَعَ سُنَنَ الْهُدَى لِنَبِيِّهِ، (٣) وَإِنَّهُنَّ مِنْ سُنَنِ الْهُدَى، وَإِنِّي لَا أَحْسِبُ مِنْكُمْ أَحَدًا إِلَّا لَهُ مَسْجِدٌ يُصَلِّي فِيهِ فِي بَيْتِهِ، فَلَوْ صَلَّيْتُمْ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ، وَتَرَكْتُمْ مَسَاجِدَكُمْ، لَتَرَكْتُمْ سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكُمْ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَلَوْ تَرَكْتُمْ سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكُمْ لَضَلَلْتُمْ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whoever wishes to meet Allah tomorrow on the Day of Resurrection in a state of Islam should be regular in offering these obligatory prayers whenever the call for them is given, for they are among the ways of guidance. Allah has prescribed the ways of guidance for your Prophet. Every one of you has a mosque in his house; if you start praying in your houses as these people who stay behind do, you will have abandoned the Sunnah of your Prophet, and if you abandon the Sunnah of your Prophet, you will go astray.
