حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ، وَمَنْصُورٍ، وَسُلَيْمَانَ، أَخْبَرُونِي أَنَّهُمْ سَمِعُوا أَبَا وَائِلٍ، يُحَدِّثُ، ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " سِبَابُ الْمُسْلِمِ فُسُوقٌ، وَقِتَالُهُ كُفْرٌ " قَالَ زُبَيْدٌ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي وَائِلٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ: أَأَنْتَ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: نَعَمْ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn Mas’ood that
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to him on the night of the jinn, and he had an old bone, a piece of dung and a piece of charcoal with him. He said to him: Do not use any of these to clean yourself with when you go out to relieve yourself.
