حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ السَّلْمَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّ مِنَ الْبَيَانِ سِحْرًا، وَشِرَارُ النَّاسِ الَّذِينَ تُدْرِكُهُمُ السَّاعَةُ أَحْيَاءً (٣) ، وَالَّذِينَ يَتَّخِذُونَ قُبُورَهُمْ مَسَاجِدَ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn Mas'ood said:
I learned seventy soorahs from the lips of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and no one else was with me when I learned them.
