Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَبَاحٌ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " يَتَخَلَّفُونَ عَنِ الْجُمُعَةِ لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ فِتْيَانِي، فَيَحْزِمُوا حَطَبًا، ثُمَّ آمُرَ رَجُلًا، ، يَؤُمُّ بِالنَّاسِ، فَأُحَرِّقَ عَلَى قَوْمٍ بُيُوتَهُمْ، لَا يَشْهَدُونَ الْجُمُعَةَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from 'Abdur-Rahman bin ' Abdullah bin Mas'ood from his father who said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed the one who consumes riba, the one who pays it, the two who witness it and the one who writes it down.
