حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي قَيْسٍ، عَنْ هُزَيْلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: " لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، الْوَاشِمَةَ، وَالْمُتَوَشِّمَةَ،، ، وَالْوَاصِلَةَ، وَالْمَوْصُولَةَ، وَالْمُحَلِّلَ (١) ، وَالْمُحَلَّلَ لَهُ، وَآكِلَ الرِّبَا، وَمُطْعِمَهُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Mas'ood said:
I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): O Messenger of Allah, which deed is best? He said: "Prayer offered on time." I said: Then what, O Messenger of Allah? He said: "Honouring one's parents." I said: Then what, O Messenger of Allah? He said: Jihad for the sake of Allah. Then I fell silent and if I had asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) for more, he would have given me more.
