Original Arabic

حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِي النَّجُودِ، عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا تَنْقَضِي الْأَيَّامُ، وَلَا يَذْهَبُ الدَّهْرُ حَتَّى يَمْلِكَ الْعَرَبَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي، يُوَاطِئُ اسْمُهُ اسْمِي " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ood that

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Allah has cursed the muhill and the muhallal lahu.”
