Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ خَمْسًا "، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: زِيدَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ؟ قَالَ: " وَمَا ذَاكَ؟ "، قَالُوا: صَلَّيْتَ خَمْسًا، قَالَ: " فَثَنَى رِجْلَهُ، ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ بَعْدَمَا سَلَّمَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that 'Abdullah said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Let one of you protect his face from the Fire even with half a date.”
