حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا وَائِلٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَهُوَ يَحْكِي: نَبِيًّا قَالَ: " كَانَ قَوْمُهُ يَضْرِبُونَهُ حَتَّى يُصْرَعَ " قَالَ: فَيَمْسَحُ جَبْهَتَهُ، وَيَقُولُ: " اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِقَوْمِي إِنَّهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that 'Abdullah said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said one thing and I say another. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever dies associating something with Allah will enter Hell.” And I say whoever dies not associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise.
