Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَاجِدٍ الْحَنَفِيِّ، فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ، وَقَالَ: " وَكَأَنَّمَا أُسِفَّ وَجْهُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: ذُرَّ عَلَيْهِ رَمَادٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Abu Ahmad az-Zubairi narrated with his isnad,
He said: "No one of you should say that I am better than Yoonus bin Matta.”
