Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: قَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَسْمًا، قَالَ: فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ: إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْقِسْمَةَ مَا أُرِيدَ بِهَا وَجْهُ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: يَا عَدُوَّ اللهِ، أَمَا لَأُخْبِرَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَا قُلْتَ، قَالَ: فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَاحْمَرَّ وَجْهُهُ، وَقَالَ: " رَحْمَةُ اللهِ عَلَى مُوسَى، قَدْ أُوذِيَ بِأَكْثَرَ مِنْ هَذَا فَصَبَرَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Abdullah, from the Prophet (ﷺ), that
He said: "If you are three, two should not converse (privately) to the exclusion of their companion, because that makes him sad. And no woman should took at or touch another woman so she can describe her to her husband."
