Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنْ نُبَيْهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " الْمُحْرِمُ لَا يَنْكِحُ وَلا يُنْكِحُ وَلا يَخْطُبُ " (١) .،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Aban bin `Uthman (رضي الله عنه) from his father that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
`The pilgrim in ihram should not get married, arrange a marriage or propose marriage.`
