حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ - أَمْلَاهُ عَلَيَّ، ، مِنْ كِتَابِهِ -، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا (١) عَلْقَمَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: " عَلَّمَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصَّلَاةَ، فَكَبَّرَ وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ وَطَبَّقَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، وَجَعَلَهُمَا بَيْنَ رُكْبَتَيْهِ " فَبَلَغَ سَعْدًا، فَقَالَ: " صَدَقَ أَخِي، قَدْ كُنَّا نَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ، ثُمَّ أُمِرْنَا بِهَذَا، وَأَخَذَ بِرُكْبَتَيْهِ "، حَدَّثَنِي عَاصِمُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ، هَكَذَا (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that ‘Abdullah said:
I remember the pairs (of soorahs) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to put together (in one rakah), eighteen soorahs from al-Mufassal and two soorahs from the family of Ha-Meem.
