حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبدِ الْمَلِكِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنِ الْعُرْيَانِ بْنِ الْهَيْثَمِ، عَنْ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ الْأَسَدِيِّ، قَالَ: انْطَلَقْتُ مَعَ عَجُوزٍ مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ، إِلَى ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَلْعَنُ الْمُتَنَمِّصَاتِ وَالْمُتَفَلِّجَاتِ، وَالْمُوشِمَاتِ (١) اللَّاتِي يُغَيِّرْنَ خَلْقَ اللهِ " (٢) قَالَ يَحْيَى: وَالْمُوسِمَاتِ اللَّاتِي، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ma‘dikarib said:
We came to 'Abdullah and asked him to recite to us, Ta-Seen-Meem al-Mi’atain (i.e., ash-Shu'ara') He said: I do not know it, you should go to one who learned it from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): Khabbab bin al-Aratt. So we went to Khabbab bin al-Aratt and he recited it to us.
