Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنِي الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مَنْ (١) فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ كِبْرٍ، وَلَا يَدْخُلُ النَّارَ مَنْ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ خَرْدَلٍ مِنْ إِيمَانٍ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn Mas’ood (رضي الله عنه) that
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Forbidden to the Fire is everyone who has a soft, gentle, easy-going disposition and is close to people."
