حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمٌ ابْنُ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: كُنَّا يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ كُلُّ ثَلَاثَةٍ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ، كَانَ أَبُو لُبَابَةَ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، زَمِيلَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: وَكَانَتْ عُقْبَةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: فَقَالَا نَحْنُ نَمْشِي عَنْكَ، فَقَالَ: " مَا أَنْتُمَا بِأَقْوَى مِنِّي، وَلَا أَنَا بِأَغْنَى عَنِ الْأَجْرِ مِنْكُمَا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The Shaitan passed by me and I grabbed hold of him and strangled him until I felt the coolness of his tongue on my hands and he said: “You hurt me, you hurt me.”
